Xactimate X1 Virtual Training Class: Fundamentals & Proficiency
Get ready to write property damage estimates using Xactimate X1 Desktop! This is a live virtual class, conducted by an Xactimate Certified Trainer. Topics include; navigating Xactimate, creating projects, creating to scale interior and roof diagrams, inputting a detailed scope of repairs, distributing your estimate using a variety of professional print reports, and more. To get the most out of class, it is recommended that you have access to your own copy of Xactimate or a free demo.You may use Xactimate X1 Desktop or X1 Online, Xactimate 28 desktop or Xactimate 28 Online in class. Xactimate Mobile is not covered in this course.

Day 1 is our Fundamentals day (no previous Xactimate experience required). We begin at the login screen and progress from there. New Xactimate users are welcome. If you’re just starting to use Xactimate or you’ve been away for a while, this is where you begin!
Day 2 & 3 are our Proficiency days (Power Users). We build on day 1 topics and go deeper.
- Utilizing the 4-step estimating process to quickly create a project, review your estimate, and export.
- Using construction concepts to build interior and roofing diagrams using sketch.

Burgess is an Xactimate Certified Trainer (XCT) and has experience writing estimates for both insurance and restoration companies, which proves a valuable reference for attendees on gaining practical, field based instruction. This online class is approved for insurance continuing education for Florida Adjuster Optional adjusters and IICRC Certified technicians.
Information is sent to each attendee how to best prepare for class, along with tips for participating in an online session. However, it is the responsibility of each attendee to prepare their computer in advance of class so they are ready to participate on day 1.

What is the Class Schedule? (Class times are in Central Time)

Which version of Xactimate do I need for class?
The Instructor will spend the bulk of the class using Xactimate X1 Desktop. However, Attendees may also attend using Xactimate 28 Desktop or the online version of Xactimate.
Is the workbook included in course tuition?
Yes. Each attendee receives Xactware’s Fundamentals & Proficiency workbook (digital version), which is delivered via the Mimeo Digital App.

Xactimate is a windows-based program. The online version of Xactimate requires Microsoft Silverlight via Internet explorer browser (Safari browser is not compatible). Xactimate Mobile (IOS or Android) app is not covered in this class.
How do I register someone else?
During registration, you create an account for the attendee to access course information. If you are registering someone other than yourself, be sure to input the Attendee’s email address in the Create Account (username) field and distribute the password you input to the attendee. Also, input the Attendee’s email address in the Attendee info section and select if CE is desired. Else, select No CE.
How do I register multiple attendees?
If you are registering multiple attendees, input the number of registrations in the “Add to Cart” button. In the Attendee section, input the information for one of the attendees. Then, after Checkout is complete, send each Attendee’s information to: email@example.com with “Multiple Attendees + Class Date” in the subject line (e.g. “Multiple Attendees – Feb 16-18, 2021”). Be sure to include each attendee’s; First and Last name, email address, contact phone, & type of CE desired. Else, indicate No CE (see course approvals for available options).
Is Continuing Education Credit Available?
Yes. Upon successful completion of this course, attendees holding an adjuster license in the states listed below or an IICRC Certification are eligible to receive continuing education credit for their attendance and participation in class.
However, attendees desiring continuing education credit are expected to attend and participate in the full class, respond to polls or other questions, etc. as well as meeting any additional requirements as listed below, mandated by their licensing organization/department.

Florida Adjuster Optional attendees must be in attendance for the entire class. No partial credit is available. Attendee will be sent an acknowledgement form via email (.PDF document) to complete, sign, and return, acknowledging your participation in all sessions of the approved class. This form must be returned to Watermark before any credit will be awarded.
New! Florida Public Adjuster Optional: 18 hours (Course id#: 115718)
Florida Public Adjuster Optional attendees must be in attendance for the entire class. No partial credit is available. Attendee will be sent an acknowledgement form via email (.PDF document) to complete, sign, and return, acknowledging your participation in all sessions of the approved class. The completed and signed form must be returned to Watermark before any credit will be awarded.

Oklahoma licensed adjusters must be in attendance for the entire class. No partial credit is available. Attendees desiring Oklahoma CE are required to have their webcam on during the class presentation or respond to poll questions given during each hour of the class. This course is approval for 18 general continuing education hours by the Oklahoma Department of Insurance only to December 31, 2022 (Course: 6000080120). Student information will not be sold or distributed to any third party without prior written consent of the student. Taking the course shall not constitute consent.

Texas licensed adjusters must be in attendance for the entire class. No partial credit is available. Attendees desiring Texas CE are required to have their webcam on during the entire class presentation (except for breaks). This course is approval for 18 general classroom continuing education hours by the Texas Department of Insurance (Course: 128375).
Note for all CE Attendees: Class will typically have a break during each hour of class. Please utilize the break time to check email, respond to phone calls, etc. if CE credit is desired.
